Fun in the Fall

Saturday's and Sunday's in the fall usually mean golf, football, and lots of junkfood while watching the games. But this weekend was so beautiful we took advantage of the weather and local events. Saturday we went on the Finger Lakes Railway's Fall Foliage Tour. It was a two-hour tour from Shortsville to Victor (kind-of, we think it was more like Farmington) with beautiful sights the entire way.
Sunday daddy did get a chance to golf in the morning while mommy did some weeding. Jacob helped, but he tended to pull the heads off live flowers, not dead ones. But he was trying to help.
Sunday we went to Bristol Mountain and took the chairlift to the top. We walked down the long way, which wasn't as steep as attempting meteor or rocket. I can't ski them in the winter, so I didn't have much interest in climbing down at 45-degree slope either!
The "easy" way was still plenty steep, and our legs are definitely burning today.
We caught some beautiful views along the way.
