He's not walking yet, but he is ALWAYS into something. Today's post is all about the things Jacob does to help around the house. "Hey... so THIS is where you keep the food... score! Oh, you mean you want the food and the plastic cups to stay INSIDE the pantry? What fun is that?"
"I can do my laundry, does it go in here?"
"I can even do dishes. EAT off of them, that is! Ha!"
The name of the website is cheesy, the blogs promise to be worse, but what is more fitting than to call our little family an adventure?
It certainly wasn't what we were expecting.
You never do when you decide to have a child. Nothing can be more frustrating than a baby that screams until his face turns purple when there is seeminly nothing wrong. But nothing can be more wonderful than seeing that same baby's face light up just because you entered the room.
So in honor of J, Mark, K and the blessing that is our family, I offer this website and occasional blogs. I imagine most will be celebrating K and J's milestones. And others will be re-posts from other blogs that are my poor attempts at humor. But most of all it is for me to journal the adventure that has been so far, and will continue to be, parenthood.
Comments from my esteemed reading audience (ok, the poor saps who I sent the e-mail link to and were forced to check out this page). To have your voice heard, drop me a line at tarynelizabethd(at)yahoo(dot)com
"Believe it or not, I liked it. Gabe and I both liked the pictures, and the commentary wasn't nearly as cheesy as advertised."
"How on earth do you have so much time to do this?"
"You keep writing on your blog – you are a true journalist at heart and your blog is great fun to read. (And it’s not cheesy.)"
"I read your blog. It's almost as funny as my blog about my cat." WTF??
