We spent the Saturday of our Labor Day weekend at Red Beard's seafood and pirate festival on Candice Lake. Uncle Ellis came along for the fun too.
We had to try out the seafood of course, so here Mark and Ellis are with 2 dozen clams, a full Maine lobster, spicy shell-and-eat shrimp, 2 ears of corn and 2 bowls of salt potatoes.
And ice cream sundaes for dessert. (I really shouldn't pick on them because I ate just as much as they both did!!)
Jacob got into the pirate booty... but was more fascinated by the fluffy cannon balls.
There were lots of buccaneers, some paid actors from the Sterling Renaissance Festival, others just weirdo's, but none of them held Jacob's attention. Not while there was ice cream in mommy's hands!
"Nooo!!! I'm not done yet!!!!"
