After leaving Hersey we headed further South to Baltimore, Md. We stayed in a hotel directly across from Camden Yards where the Baltimore Oriels play. Great location for the games. Not so much for taking two young kids to the Inner Harbor.
It was a HOT few days in Maryland, which made the 10+ block walk to the Inner Harbor a hike for the kids. They were great about it, but I know they were hot and tired!
We took the water taxi, traveled out to Fort McHenry, and had lunch and dinner in historic Fells Point.
We also spent a morning at the Baltimore Science Museum. We let the kids choose between the science museum (where they could touch stuff) and the Baltimore Aquarium (which was three times the price).
The kids had a great time... but really enjoyed their time in the hotel room making a fort in their bed with the hotel sheet.
Of course we had some seafood- at least mommy did with the Maryland crabs. The kids weren't crazy about the crab, but J loved whacking the crabs open with a hammer!
