Camping in the Poconos

 Last year I traveled to Ohio to take part in a "Warrior Dash"- a 5k race through mud and obstacles.  My racing partner and I decided to take part in the race again this year- this time in the Poconos in Pennsylvania.

We decided to make it a family vacation, and found a great campsite nearby that had cabins for rent.  The camp also had a pool, playground, snack shack, and other amenities.  The kids loved it!

We stayed two nights in the tiniest cabin ever!  But the kids didn't mind- and loved playing on the bunk beds.

There were a lot of activities during the weekend for the kids.  There was a water parade through the camp with squirt guns and and ice cream social in the evening.

After two nights in the Poconos the other family headed home.  We headed South to continue our vacation...
