The kids must have been very good this year, because Santa brought lots of presents. Mark said to J "Look! Santa brought you a Big Wheel!" J replied, "Yeah, and two little wheels too!"J also had a tow truck from Christmas Eve that he loved- and took to bed with him that night. I wouldn't think a tow truck is a very snuggly thing to take to bed, but he wouldn't let it out of his hands.
Since Thanksgiving J has been asking Santa for the same thing- "Cranky" and "Gordon" from the Thomas the Train set. Grandpa Dobbs asked J who Gordon was. Without missing a beat J replied "The fastest train on Sodor!" And I didn't think he watched enough tv to pick anything up!And if you think that's a little specific, just ask him which trains are "Steamies" and which are "Diesels." For the record, "Steamies have tenders to carry their coal." Talk about making your parents feel dumb!
Grandma Dobbs got a fun hat to wear to the Royal Wedding in April. She hasn't been invited officially yet, but she's booking a flight over to London just in case.J actually got two Crankies. He is a very happy boy.
K got lots of toys and a few dolls. I never would have thought that a 1-year-old would carry around a dolly and pretend to feed it a bottle like she does. 
And of course we don't limit Christmas to just one (or two) days... we got together the next day with the Windheim cousins and family. Pictures to follow!
